The annual banquet of the Manitowoc County Lakes Association took place on Friday, October the 13th, hosted by Dan Dufek and the Larrabee Sportsman’s Club, who provided a delicious broasted chicken dinner and great company. Directions: Pigeon Lake Road, Town of Liberty. Take Highway 42 South from Manitowoc, West on County Highway F approximately 3.5 miles to Pigeon Lake Road. Travel North on Pigeon Lake Road approximately .75 miles to driveway to on the West side of the road.

Recreation
- Features: Parking space for 10 car/trailer units, a boat ramp and outdoor lighting. A popular spot for water skiing and boating, which are regulated by a town ordinance and posted at the access. The access and parking area are blacktopped with a port-a-pier. The facility also has a toilet building. The lake is best known for walleye and northern pike, but also contains large mouth bass, white bass and trout.
- Boat Ramp: Concrete ramp, 8% slope, >3 ft launch depth, boarding dock.
- Launch Fee: The daily fee is $5 and the seasonal fee is $20.
- ADA Accessibility Features: No. Not ADA accessible. The slope to the boarding dock exceeds the maximum allowable for ADA purposes.

- Secchi Disk: Average summer reading 7.5 ft (SE Georegion average 6.2 ft.)
Typically the summer (July-Aug) water was reported as CLEAR and GREEN. This suggests that the secchi depth may be mostly impacted by algae. However, since recent summer chlorophyll readings average less than 9 ug/l, this lake may have been impacted by another factor, such as suspended marl.
- Chemistry:
Average summer Chlorophyll 6.2 µg/l (SE Georegion average of 24.7 µg/l).
Average summer Total Phosphorus 13.8 µg/l.
- Trophic State Index (TSI): 49/Mesotrophic. What does this mean?
Mesotrophic lakes are characterized by moderately clear water, but have an increasing chance of low dissolved oxygen in deep water during the summer.

There use to be a tavern on pigeon lake in the 1970s and a public swimming area was just wondering what the name of the tavern and if there are any public pictures of this place. (Pigeon lake Manitowoc county)
