The Manitowoc County Soil & Water Conservation Department (SWCD) invites the public to participate in a brief 5-minute survey. This survey aims to gather valuable feedback from the community, which will play a crucial role in shaping the 10-year Land and Water Resource Management Plan, effective from 2026 to 2035.

The SWCD recognizes the importance of collaboration and community involvement in ensuring the protection and enhancement of our environment. To ensure that the Land and Water Resource Management Plan effectively addresses the needs and desires of the community, the SWCD and Local Advisory Committee have developed a brief survey.  Questions are designed to gauge public opinion on the prioritization of resources such as lakes, wildlife habitat, farmland, and groundwater (drinking water.) Furthermore, the survey seeks input on the most effective strategies to protect and improve these vital resources.

The survey can be accessed online at https://app.opinionx.co/58d11a7e-4eab-405a-9e02-d1d6841d2161  Paper copies are also available at the SWCD, located at 4319 Expo Drive in Manitowoc. The deadline for survey submissions is September 13, 2024 and all responses will remain anonymous.
