Boat Launch Permits are issued by

Permits are available beginning the end of January of each year.
There are 3 ways to purchase a 2026 permit:
- Stop at the county office at 4319 Expo Drive Manitowoc WI 54220
- Mail a $20 check and a note with your vehicle license plate and your return address to:
- Planning, Zoning & Parks Department of Manitowoc County

- Stop at any Manitowoc County boat launch after April 1, 2026 (this date may vary depending on weather conditions), complete the blue launch envelope, indicate seasonal, include $20 and once collected, we will mail you a boat launch permit. Please note this option may take a little longer depending on when the envelopes are collected.
